If you have never mailed with a postcard printer there are a few things you should know
1. Who is your target audience?
You target audience is very important, because if you don’t have a targeted list then it could be hard to get a response. If you need help determining your audience, give one of our postcard direct mail specialist a call.
2. Have they heard of you before?
If your target audience has never heard of you before then you are going to want to print a larger post card to get their attention. We recommend a 6x9 or a 6x11 because you have more room to add information about who you are. If your target audience knows you, a standard 4x6 postcard will work great.
3. How many orders do I need, to pay for your postcard mailing campaign?
Your ROI or Return on Investment is very important. If your campaign costs $1000 and you profit $100 per sale, then you need 10 sales to break even. If you send out 5000 post cards you should get an average of 50 – 100 phone calls (this depends on your list and design). From those 50-100 calls its up to you to figure out your close percentage.
